Join us for the upcoming gathering of Craft & Chat! The goal of this club is to spend time on your creative projects while enjoying each other's company. Please bring a project you'd like to work on. This can include knitting, painting, coloring, or any other craft you enjoy. Even if you don’t have a current project, feel free to come and see what others are working on. The Book Club will hold a potluck lunch at the home of one of our members. Please bring any books you would like to swap, and we will also discuss what we are currently reading. Walking the streets of Budapest is undeniably an immersive experience. Not only can we witness the marks of the city’s rich history, but we can also admire stunning examples of 21st-century architecture. The constant changes in the city’s landscape have resulted in neglected and run-down houses becoming a common sight. This has given rise to street art, particularly firewall paintings, throughout Budapest. Thanks to the contributions of many creative artists, a growing number of bare walls are being transformed into large canvases, breathing new life into these dilapidated buildings. Every year, we aim to organize at least one edition of our Adopt-A-Granny program in the great outdoors, and both the children and their "adoptive grandparents" thoroughly enjoy every moment. This year, we are bringing them together again for a day filled with fun games, friendly competition, and prizes provided by NAWA. We are looking for helpers and cheerleaders for this fun and heartwarming event.
