Zebegeny Walking Tour

You are invited for a guided walking tour where you will marvel at the beautiful panorama over the Danube, walk through the historical sites of Zebegény, get an insight into present day village living and learn a little about Hungary’s history. Zebegény is one of the most beautiful villages in Hungary, situated on the Danube bend, surrounded by the Börzsöny mountains. Today it is a favourite destination for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living and it is also a favourite artists’ retreat. Many artists among them Amrita Sher Gil, have lived and created here. Today it is a lively community of Schwabens and newcomers from around the world.

At the end of the tour we will enjoy locally produced healthy and tasty delicacies and a good coffee or tea.
