November General Meeting

Don your Santa hat or festive accessories as we’ll allow our inner elves to shine through at our November general meeting.

This year we will also be crafting a tree ornament as part of our gift for the seniors, so we’ll need “all hands on deck” to help us make nearly 200 ornaments and then pack nearly 300 gift bags.

We will prepare these to be given on December 6th Mikulás Nap (St. Nicholas Day) 

According to tradition, children of all ages shine their shoes and place them in front of the window the evening before. The next morning, the children hurry to see what Mikulás brought them. Tasty treats, such as chocolates, candies or fruits fill the inside of good children’s shoes. 

We will be there to welcome you from 9:30 am, so please be on time as doors will close at 10:00 am to enable a prompt start to the meeting.
