Although it takes a lot of energy\, by the end you have a beautiful handmade fabric and article to wear during the colder winter months. Last year her group made a cowl neck (head and neck warmer because it is versatile and useful but she will offer other possibilities as well. The wool/silk is of the best quality. DESCRIPTION:Don your Santa hat or festive accessories as we’ll allow our inner elves to shine through at our November general meeting. \n\n\n\nThis year we will also be crafting a tree ornament as part of our gift for the seniors\, so we’ll need “all hands on deck” to help us make nearly 200 ornaments and then pack nearly 300 gift bags. \n\n\n\nWe will prepare these to be given on December 6th Mikulás Nap (St. Nicholas Day)  \n\n\n\nAccording to tradition\, children of all ages shine their shoes and place them in front of the window the evening before. The next morning\, the children hurry to see what Mikulás brought them. DESCRIPTION:We are planning to visit the National Gallery to see the exhibition before it leaves Budapest. The exhibition based on the masterpieces of the Centre Pompidou – Musée national d’art modern\, Paris is the first show featuring Henri Matisse’s art in Hungary. The selection of more than 150 works guides visitors through all the main periods of the artist’s oeuvre from his Fauve period all the way to his late gouache paper cut-outs.
