Walking the streets of Budapest is undeniably an immersive experience. Not only can we witness the marks of the city’s rich history, but we can also admire stunning examples of 21st-century architecture. The constant changes in the city’s landscape have resulted in neglected and run-down houses becoming a common sight. This has given rise to street art, particularly firewall paintings, throughout Budapest. Thanks to the contributions of many creative artists, a growing number of bare walls are being transformed into large canvases, breathing new life into these dilapidated buildings.
