Vaszary Rediscovered at The National Gallery Followed by Coffee & Chat

March 2, 2023 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

János Vaszary (1867-1939) is one of the most popular and versatile Hungarian painters, having used in his creations  a variety of styles, from secessionism to impressionism, expressionism and art deco. The Hungarian National Gallery is exhibiting a collection of 70 Vaszary works, out of which 24 are recently discovered, fully restored and never before seen by the public. Join us in discovering (or rediscovering) the amazing art of János Vaszary at the Hungarian National Gallery.

Aside from enjoying beautiful aquarelle masterpieces, there is now an opportunity for us to do some good before we head up to the National Gallery: A donation drive for women in need, primarily for homeless women is from February 21 to March 8 in Budapest, and we thought we could help.

If you’d like to be part of it and donate some goods, please join us.
